Well, fascinating to me, and I figure there will be enough others here that feel likewise to justify the post.

How Operation b107 decapitated the Rustock botnet

Very accessible description of how this kind of organized crime malware works, and how it was attacked and disabled. Not very long. And in case you thought "botnets" were alarmist fantasy, see how real and widespread they are.

Microsoft is one of the good guys here. It could happen. :cool2:
