So I was thinking about my favorite bad asses from my pliable youth and if they were a diver what type would they be? Here are my impressions:

John Wayne – BP/W in Hogarthian Configuration (simple yet effective)

Sean Connery – Flashy Sports Diver (what else for James Bond?)

Chuck Norris – Cave Diver

Bruce Lee – Free Diver (remember the yellow body suit?)

Harrison Ford – Side Mount Diver

Clint Eastwood – Cold Water Diver

Sylvester Stallone – New Open Water Diver with 35 gizmos attached to his BCD (5 knives)

Mel Gibson – Deep Wreck Diver

Bruce Willis – Your Favorite Dive Buddy (who always forgets his mask, reg, computer, etc.)

Yoda – Underwater Photographer (supreme master of buoyance and trim control)

Darth Vader – GUE Diver (taking DIR to the extreme)

Angelina Jolie - Solo Diver (Tomb rider scenes)

Liam Neeson - Navy Seals Instructor (Mentor as usual)

Bill Murray - Scientific Diver (remember Steve Zissou?)

Bryan Cranston - Saturated Diver (only his class of an actor can manage that)

Popeye the sailor when he beats every sea animal and bluto on his tug

Svlvestor Stallone as the puget sound octopus wrestler

Arnold Schwarzenegger as the tech diver going into the Perfect Storm and riding the boat down to the bottom
