my favoirte beach dive site:

cleo street in laguna beach. it's a pretty long swim, but i have never had trouble finding the wreck (swim straight out, it's in 50 ft of water). much different life than shaw's cove. last time out, i counted 40 lobster, saw a few spanish shawls, an octopus, tons of sheephead, lots of sea pansies, a sheep crab, and all kinds of other stuff. plus the wreck itself, is pretty neat to look at.

best part about it: i have never seen another diver in the water there (aside from my buddy, of course).

I love most of the beach dive sites so long as it's not to hard to get to & the vis is good when I get there. Also the waves have to be small.

Happy Diving
John
