Fiber connector for S&S YD-D1

Hi
I want to make a longer fiber cord for Nauticam connect to S&S YD-D1
Now I use the Nauticam NA-26212
I see that most of the cable connector use the L Type but its looks like there is a pressure on the cord when I stretches the cable to the arms

1. Here the cable goes straight out, Aligned with the arms

2. Here you can see the point that I'm afraid to damage the fabric

You can make your own, very cheaply if that is the way you want to go.
