There are so many islands with so many dive sites close by that I don't think there is a big liveaboard market.
I stayed on Mana Island and could have done 4 dives per day if I wanted, to different locations each day for 5 days. Each dive would have been a max of about 40 min travel each way, with an average of 20mins.
