I have what I think is a DC1 1st stage......looks like the Apeks DST or HOG D1.
It's been squealing badly so I thought I'd disassemble it, move the spring around, and see if I could stop the resonance.
I see that the valve body/balance chamber has the usual o ring and teflon spacer ring except they are reversed from what I usually see.......normally the teflon ring is under the o ring but in this case the teflon ring is on top.
Before I put it back together I just want to confirm the correct order.

I also see there is no hole in the environmental seal cap for a pin spanner. Luckily it came off by hand, but I can see a time that channel locks might be needed. Do I have an early model?
I do hate pin spanners and like the Zeagle idea of using a plastic retainer on their DS4's and 5's but I do have a Zeagle that has a cap on so tight that the turret comes loose before it does.
