So I grew up here in Florida and somehow never managed to sit my butt in a Kayak. Today was the day. I went out with a few buddies and did a two tank dive out of the Kayak! What an experience that was. I only tipped over twice. I don't think it's too bad considering I weigh 270 lbs., had two tanks, and my BP/W in the Kayak. At least the water in Venice today was smooth as silk this morning but a little rougher when I came back in. I did get to see a manatee, dolphin, and a spotted eagle ray though!!!

I wonder if that was the same Eagle Ray that ran me over a couple of weeks ago?!LOL Welcome to yak diving! Where did you go & how was the viz?

Nice! WTG!!

I have been out on my yak with waves submarining the front over the front hatch and even loaded with tanks in the rear and me leaning back still stuffed it on the way back in to the beach.
