Hello all,

I am going back to Cozumel for my second trip in August. My 2 daughters are coming. The oldest is getting certified and I intended to snorkel extensively with the younger to get her interested.

Can anyone recommend a fish ID board (preferably one on Amazon) that covers Cozumel the best? I am looking for the laminated ones you can get wet. I want to give the kids a little challenge to try to find as many of the fish as possible. I think they will eat up this type of activity.

Many thanks.

.... I want to give the kids a little challenge to try to find as many of the fish as possible....

Also if you have a string or fishing line you can tie a 'carpenters' pencil to it. I use a knife and cut a small groove around the thick pencil and tie the line tight in the grove and it won't slip off. The pencil works great underwater so they can put a check mark or circle next/around the fish on the card. The next day, a little mask cleaning solution works perfect to clean off the check marks and start over again to keep them going.

They sell those all over the island. Not hard to find in town. The little store at Hotel Cozumel had at least 2 sizes of them.

Aqua Safari shop on Melgar has good selection.
