Was wondering what people felt about the Pro's & Con's of Flat vs. Dome ports.

As more variety become available, where do you see u/w video going?

Just my opinion. Flat: pros:cheaper, cons:narrower angle of view vs dome.
While the cameras are coming better/cheaper waiting to see if any manufacturer has the courage to produce a consumer friendly housing/lights combination.

You left out one option: "Wet lens" This is a multi-element wide angle lens where the forward element is in contact with the water. A lot of housings work this way. Some Light and Motion housing work like this

What you need likely depends on where you shoot. Wide angle does not work to well in limited visaility. So far my best shots are all between three feet and four inches from the camera.
