My son and I are going to Florida Sea Base in the Florida Key's for a scuba adventure August 5-12th with approx 18 other local divers. Sea Base is a water oriented facility run by the Boy Scouts of America at a beautiful spot in Islamorada Florida.We had 3 drop outs for various reasons so there are at least 3 spots that I am trying to fill but there maybe more available if needed. We also are in desperate need of an adult female chaperone. I am attaching a link to their site. It is a great opportunity for kids 14 yrs old and up
The cost is $775.. This covers room and board in air conditioned dorms,any dive equipment needed, approx 9 dives on state of the art dive boats, a trip to Key West and much more. Transportation to (on 8-5-09) and from (on 8-12-09) Sea Base is not included but once your there everything is provided. All the info is on the website that I will attach. It is pretty thorough but if you have any questions or would like to go and or send kids please feel free to contact me. My kids went in 2007 and loved it.
