Do you recommend printing out information for the TSA about the NiMh batteries? Are they already familiar enough with them in your opinion? Problems faced or shared with you by customers?

Are the new seal protectors necessary to prevent deformation of the tube or only to protect the sealing surface? I split a piece of tubing and placed it around the end.

Sent an email directly to you but received no response.

thanks,

TSA just sniff everything they dont understand and if its not a bomb they dont much care.

Split tubing will work on the seals but the protectors are easier to install and offer better protection. Its essential when packing to make sure its imposible for TSA to repack your items incorectly. If they remove your carefull protection, it has to be foolproof to replace otherwise they will simply just throw it all back in the bag making all your hard work useless.

hope this helps

Ben

Thank you for the response. Both here and by email. Good advice. Appreciate it.
