The Force Fin Fiesta took place March 15th at Forty Fathom Grotto in
Weeki Wachee Springs Florida Spring Scuba Diving and Snorkeling at Weeki Wachee Springs, Florida and was a time for people to not only have a new experience below the water, but to be a part of the social bond the strengthens the tribe of scuba divers.

The spontaneous event developed from the need of a very key member of
Scubaboard.com to get back into the water after surgery on his Achilles
tendon. With Force Fin’s patented open toe foot pocket and efficient
design the force of moving the fin blade through the water is supported
by your entire leg. The strain on foot arches, ankles and calves caused
by the extension of the fin blade from the end of your toes is
non-existent.

This is why a lot of divers with knee and ankle problems choose Force Fins. above photo by Bob Evans- The Net Doc wearing the SD1 Excellerating Force Fin with new Patented foot pocket and Bat Wings.

“Fin Doctor”, Bob Evans and Net Doc decided sharing a pair of Force Fins that was most appropriate for this recovering diver
was a great opportunity to invite everyone and anyone that could make
it to the springs that day to get together for a dive where they could try
all sorts of Force Fin models.

As one participant put it, “who would not want to join friends for a chance to dive new equipment and a BBQ?” Fellow inventor and organizer for the event at Weeki Wachee, Christopher De Felice was most hospitable. Greg Holt of Scuba Radio ScubaRadio-The worlds first radio show devoted to diving with Greg The Divemaster. Powered by NavQuest.Com. was there. The former editor of Sport Diver magazine, Pierce Hoover brought his son
along for a dive. Captain Tom Bryant of Action Aquatics joined with a
group of divers from Tampa. Hal Watts (Mr. Scuba) was there. Many more
Scubaboard members, and divers from far and near showed up with their
gear, kids and great enthusiasm.

The favorite Force Fin models were the SD1 Excellerating and the Extra
Force Fin. The SD1 Excellerating Force Fin was embraced and appreciated
for its versatility to fit over many different diving footwear and
configurations. The Extra Force extra_force_fin_product another favorite because of the power and feel of the fin going through the water. Bob saw again that
kids and divers who were new to the sport liked the Foil Force foil_force_fin_product Original Force Fins forcefindive_product

The location was perfect and the atmosphere was conducive to testing
equipment and the time reinforced the fact that divers love being
around divers, and talking diving.

Fin thanks everyone who participated and invites anyone to post any stories or pictures to add to the
experience that Bob and the rest of the divers shared that weekend.

these are great pictures and 40fathomgroto looks amazing. I will have to put that down on my brain bucket that I must go there someday. Thanks again for sharing the pictures and it seems the pictures does much better in covering than envisioning the place from the show.
