The water is too clear to be from local diving so it probably washed up after traveling the gyre from Mexico or beyond on the currents. If you recognize anyone here, s/he needs to contact https://www.facebook.com/mike.ley.5...dv1jVkso_U&tn-str=*F&hc_location=group_dialog

Facebook does. Facebook recognizes everyone's face! And the FBI, NYPD, NSA, etc. etc. etc.

Yeah, and how does a Canadian Maple Leaf get on a tank in the Caribbean? I don't think a Canuk tourist would put one on a rental tank. A dive shop owned by Canadian ex-pats might altho that seems doubtful as there may be some who don't like Canada. That is really odd.

I am from Canada with a Canadian flag in the tank and French wording (made in Canada) it could be them putting a thin sticker on a tank. It could be a Quebec dive shop doing a charter trip and putting those stickers on tanks.

That's not been my experience. Quebec yes. Some do in other provinces, but not so much.

I have been trying to make that word out. faerique or fabrique? I think you may be right.
