So I went diving last month with my new Scubaboard friend @greeniguana, who lives about an hour from me.
In the course of our day together, he learned that I have some AL80 tanks that lack pro valves, and therefore have no donut for me to remove to allow me to use my DIN regulator. So basically, I use those tanks as loaners to my yoke diving friends.
He mentioned that he has a couple spare pro valves and said he'd bring them the next time we dove together.
Well, the next dive together got rained out.
So what does Green Iguana do? He ships them to me at his expense.
Since Green Iguana paid it forward so generously (giving me the gear and paying to ship it), I will do the same for any member here who wants the old valves. They work fine. They're just not convertible to DIN.
Send me a private message with your mailing info, and I'll send them to you after I change them out next week.
Thanks Green Iguana!
