Come enjoy a night of vintage scuba equipment and films. Ryan Spence and the Flashback Scuba Museum will be presenting a collection of early scuba equipment dating back to 1949. Come see a set of the first production scuba tanks and the first regulator manufactured in the US. There will also be a section of original Cousteau Team equipment used on countless expeditions around the globe. We will cover some of the high points in the evolution of modern diving equipment.

In addition to lots of fun equipment we will view two short films. The first is Cousteau's first film featuring his newly invented "Aqualung". The film Epaves (Shipwrecks) 1943 features Cousteau and his team exploring the wrecks of the Mediterranean. The second film was filmed and directed by acclaimed French director Louis Malle and features Frederic Dumas diving the Andrea Doria just six weeks after its sinking in 1957. Don't miss the opportunity to see these extremely rare films.

This will be at Tacoma SCUBA Friday January 9th 7:30 p.m.
Stop by and see the gear that started our great sport, and to check out the remodel !!
