Frequency of email notifications has changed?

I used to get a dribble of email notifications along with a warning somewhere that "there may be more posts that we are not going to notify you about". This gave a volume of about 1 email every 3 hours.

I am now getting a constant stream of email notifications. It appears like i get 1 email per new thread post. About 10 - 30 an hour for the last few hours.

I believe this is new behaviour that started today around 9:26am.

I do not care much, just thought i would point this out in case some one really did care.

Are they "Thanks" notifications instead? You can turn that off:

oops - i forgot to turn <surprise & sarcasm> mode on in my last post.

i do not think either of my previous likes where really meant to be thanks. but i could be wrong.

i think you can continue to ignore this. I MAY have over re-acted. Email notifications have now returned to expected levels.
