Hi Folks,
One of my dive buddies wants to transition to cold water diving, but doesn't want to commit to a drysuit until she's sure it's worth it. In wet neoprene she can only manage one dive a day, so I'm looking a close sites to cut down travel overhead. Yale Reservoir (Yale Park) and Speeylai Bay on Merwin are the only two that seem to be open, and the water level at Yale is way down. Battle Ground Lake would be viable, but the hatcheries are dumping fish into it like crazy right now, so it's swarmed with anglers at the moment.
To make things easier on my buddy, I'm ideally looking for a site with close access, a non-mud bottom, and relatively few anglers, but all suggestions are most welcome!
Thanks!
