? from Texas about Ft. Lauderdale Diving

I am going to be vacationing in Weston, FL and was told there was diving about 20 min away. Could ya'll let me know where some good diving spots are around the area. Also, what dive charters would you recommend.

Weston is in the western suburbs, basically head east to the beach. Don't want to scare you, but if you try to get to the beach during rush hour, it might take you an hour. The weekends are better.
When will you be arriving? Are you looking to do boat or beach or both? As for charters, I am sure there are a lot of people who can recommend somebody. I heard Divers Unlimited it good.

As far as specific dive spots, anywhere on the beach is good. Hollywood Beach or Commerical Blvd are good.

Thank you for your replies. One charter I found on the internet and was considering was Divers Unlimited. Thanks for the heads up. I will be in the area mid July. I was planning on doing only charter dives since my husband doesn't dive, so that leaves shore diving off my list since I don't have a buddy.
