Funeral for a friend and mascot .

It is with great sorrow that we share the news of last night's passing of NICO, Diveheart's German Shepard mascot showing off here at last week's DEMA show in Orlando. Nico's sudden passing left Andy Bernbaum without a best friend after eight years Andy, you are in all our prayers.

What a lovely Shepard. So sorry. I lost my gorgeous,smart Doberman this past Memorial Day at almost 8 years. I'm getting a new puppy from her breeder in a month. Will train her with service in mind, due to some mobility issues at times.

It was with sadness that I learned of Nico's passing last night. I first met Andy this summer and Nico at DEMA. Andy's determination as a diver impresses me. Nico was a very neat assistant and friend to Andy. My wife was in tears last night for both of them. Andy, you both are in out thoughts..

Oh no. What a great dog! I met him & his person at DEMA.
