I have someone who is interested in buying my Galileo computer (I prefer diving with my Air Z Nitrox) but he had an interesting request--he wants me to delete all the dives I have in memory (I guess he wants the logbook to be reflective of only his dive profiles). Will removing the battery for an extended period delete the dive profiles in memory? I can't find any information on doing this in the manual or online.

Thanks!

To my knowledge, you cant erase the recorded information on any computer. It's a legal issue. If it can be done at all, it would have to be done at the factory. The only way to show only his dives is to dive so many times that after the 99th dive it starts to "record over" the orgional dve number 1.
