I am ready to buy a new computer (been sporting guages till now :D)

I am looking at the Galileo. Since they have two models the Sol and the Luna I'm not too sure which one to pick. I see both of them with transmitter and they cost the same. ??

Any suggestions? Oh btw the sol is marked down $400 bucks and now they are both in the same price range.

Uwatec. Scubastore.com, buy, offers, scuba, Uwatec

Any imput will be apreciated

FYI I called the store and they said that the only difference is that the Luna is black and you have to pay extra for the heart monitor and the trimix software.
So the sol is deffinately the better value

Hi,

Currently there is no trimix upgrade available for the Galileo family.
The differences between the Sol and the Luna are: heart rate monitor and PMG (pre-emptive multigas diving). Both features are available for the Luna via upgrades.

Regards,
RolMar

I believe upgrades are free for the SOL and you have to purchase them for Luna. I have the Sol, but like the black of the Luna. Once it is scratched... it is silver under..

Sorry I miss spoke. There is no trimix as mentioned above. I meant to say PMG

Really the black scratches off wow, I'm glad I changed my order to the sol.
