You will need to post a trip report on the diving in Bhutan.....

Kidding aside, my first thought at seeing “Bhutan” was that for many people both Bhutan and Raja Ampat are once-in-a-lifetime destinations. With all the time and money I spend diving I think Bhutan will have to wait for my next lifetime.

And while we hear often hear complaints about marine park fees, a quick Googling reveals Bhutan currently charges a tourist fee of US$250 ($200 in low season) PER DAY.
 
I realize that my experiences diving RA could be different as we dived a bit further north, at Papua Explorers rather than Papua Paradise. Very likely other than Fam, which is a serious boat ride from either, we would have dived different sites.
