Body found on Gold Coast day after diver was reported missing
A man's body has been found northwest of the Gold Coast Seaway this afternoon a day after a diver was reported missing in the same area.
9News understands the man's body was found floating around 1pm Tuesday by whale watchers in the area who alerted authorities.
Queensland Water Police are this afternoon undergoing a search operation of the Seaway and surrounding area to find any clues about what happened.
The body's discovery comes a day after a man in his 60s was reported missing while diving in the Seaway.
