I have a Hero 3 Black and a Hero 4 Black and have mostly used the Hero 3 housing (rated to 197') for both cameras, over 100 dives, several in the 200'+ range, including some to 270' without incident, even when using the BacPac case (I've heard of divers taking them to 400'). I've done UW photography for two decades and these housing are the most rugged by far that I've used. It seems that even after a couple of dives on other equipment, something is going to leak, but not so with GP housings. Key for me is to keep the gasket clean and lubed with silicone grease.

Gopro5 session

30 dives
65'
no filter (other than snaps-on externally)
yes leaks (latch is secure; can't find source of leak)

2,3,4 silver and now 6 black.
Shallow to deep
usually with the backscatter flip series filters
mako tray and lights
moisture munchers
deepest 130
allways with the dive housing, super suit on the 6 black
never a leak
