GoPro Software Update Issues

I recenttly purchased a new GoPro 3 Silver. I am having trouble with JAVA on my windows 7 machine. I have uninstalled Java and updated windows, the reinstalled Java and confirmed Java is working via Java's confirmation process and restarted the PC. When i hook the GoPro to the computer and attempt the update, it says install Java first. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

What browser are you using? Try using a different browser.

Or just run the manual update procedure..

IE, also downloaded Firefox and Safari with no luck on either of them. My next tactic will be to try on my friends mac. Thanks for the reply.

It might actually be Java that give you the hassle. Theres some changes made to the latest version that make certain features not work properly..
Just DL the update and follow the manual installation procedure and it'll be fine
