Greenbo Lake SCUBA one step closer

The proposed Diving access in Greenbo Lake State Park is one step closer. The KY fisheries committee voted in favor of the 10 acre SCUBA area. Now the proposal will go before the KY Fish and Wildlife commission. If it passes there it should be up for vote with KY law makers in July.

The plan is for the area to be open in the spring of 2013.

I will try to keep you up do date as I get more info.

I thought Greenbo had really poor vizibility. Don't get me wrong I like that its close to home.

The report that I heard said it is between 15 and 20 foot viz.
