We are still getting nearly daily sightings of HammerHeads at out 'The Magnet', and the currents have not been too bad. Usually sightings taper off around October but at this time they are still going strong, along with Eagle and Mobula rays at Gild Saran. Water temp is from around 24 to 26, but today they said it dropped to 21, dress warmly....and come on down....Boxcar

Oooh we might have some of that, just arrived in Gili T, should be heading down to Lombok in just under a week before moving on to Flores, where are you based?

Check us out at the DIVE ZONE, I'm headed back out tomorrow, drop us a line..cheers Minimum Prerequisites for diving the “Magnet” and the “Cathedral” are advanced certification and, from November until end April, 50 logged dives. From May until end October, 100 logged dives. We reserve the right to ask for a check dive before diving at these dive sites! Please Note: We do not guarantee that any particular dive site will be accessible at all times! Equipment requirement: Own Surface Marker Buoy and dive computer are mandatory, gloves and/or reef hook is recommended.

The season for seeing the Hammers is coming to a close, but was good up until last week, currents and water temp seem to be changing, but you never know, usually it's between June and Sept weather seems to be changing sooner this year. Still good diving on the Sekotong side, have vis over 20 meters today.

With or without hammers, Belongas Bay is amazing and a part of the world I am very fortunate to have seen. Go dive South Lombok now before the developers change the landscape.
