I went with the deluxe harness from diverite. Ditched the chest strap right away.
I have two bad shoulders and thought I would need the buckle on the deluxe to get out.
Well after 2 years of using the deluxe harness, I have never needed to use the release buckle.
I am only a recreational diver so I probably won't sell the deluxe to get a basic, but when it wears out, my next would be just one piece simple webbing.
Just my 2 D-rings worth.

Excellent choice. I have four BP/W setups and one is exactly like the one you ordered. Works great. The webbing takes forever to wear out and there is nothing to break. If you by chance gain 25 lbs it's a simple matter of installing $20 worth of new webbing.

I have used a 7 foot hose for more years than I can remember. The excess I tuck into my belt harness and it never gets in the way. It has come in handy several times and you will come to appreciate that extra two feet.
