This question is for Intova Joe: Some underwater camera housing advice indicates that the o-rings that seal the operating buttons need yearly servicing. Is this true of the Sport HD II?

It really depends on usage, type of climate you live in and storage conditions. Drying and cracking are the biggest enemies and regular visual inspection is crucial. Storing in a cool and dry area is also very beneficial. For heavy usage, Annual service is a good idea. For most usage patterns however, 2 or even 3 years is probably OK as long as you monitor them. Oring material is much more durable today than even a few years ago.
Best Regards,
Joe
