To get the most out of a North Shore dive I really suggest hiring a guide. The routes can be best navigated by someone who knows them well as there are tons of caves, caverns and swimthroughs and you don't want to miss ANY of it!!!!

If you roll solo you can rent tanks from Ricardo at Hawaii Eco Divers (next to Foodland and across the street from Pupukea) or back in Haleiwa town from Surf N' Sea. Both should be able to provide rental gear as well. We also offer guided tours for small groups at Shark's Cove in the summer months.
