I know someone who took two standard plates and used them together.
I saw the same thing. Guy was incredibly handsome.
 
Cast up your own weight plates and bolt them on to any plate.

Yours doesn't have extra bolt holes. :D

For single tank diving weight pouches on the cam-bands are helpful, especially for travel on an aluminum plate..
 
I'd never mess with perfection. I'd be afraid to scratch it, for one thing.

On a serious note, I did try to use the v-pouch I linked to above under the tank, and it's doable but you can only fill in the bottom half of the pouch where the tank bracket leaves enough room for it. With a couple of pounds there and trim pouches on both cambands I had enough lead to sink a 7 mm wetsuit and an Al80. I wouldn't normally dive with all that lead non-ditchable (*), but it can be done with no drilling required.

*) but then again I don't normally dive where a 7 mm suit's required :no:
