Definitely more windsurfers, backpackers, cyclists and hikers in the Gorge than Scuba Divers! Also curious to know if @Danny Garcia got certified in the PNW and plans to dive there/here or got certified in warmer waters and plans to only dive there or both?. Doesn't matter either way, just curious. Welcome to Scubaboard and the wonderful community of scuba diving.

Got certified in PNW. I plan to dive in area and hood canal area. Yes i kiteboard
Awesome-- Who did you get certified with? Ping me any time you might be interested in diving in the Hood Canal or Puget Sound-- maybe we can hook up and dive together. --
