Hi all,

I am a newbie with 20 or so dives. But living here in Jupiter, Fl I have some of the best boat and shore dives in my back yard.

When I can't afford the charter at the local LDS, I dive the Blue Heron Bridge.

I caught the dive bug bad and have already purchased all my gear including tanks. Everything is used. The regs I got from my Dive Instructor. I already have my eye on new regs, either Sherwood SR1 or the Scubapro MK25 / G250V. Money is tight so I'll have to wait. With the economy and two young boys in daycare not much is left for my new passion. Hence the used gear.

Am I the only broke diver out there ? :cool2:

P.S. I have been an Editor / Videographer in the broadcast industry for ten years currently looking for work due to station cut-backs. Any ideas to fuse my new passion with my work experience.

Welcome to SB! You are not the only one. I'd have a lot more money if I kicked the scuba addiction.
