Help ban shark cartilage from stores!

My friend created a petition to ban the sale of shark cartilage. She needs your help to spread the word and get as many signatures as possible.

Shark cartilage has NOT been scientifically proven as a cancer cure and yet is being sold as one! There are around 450 species of sharks. Three shark species are listed on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna (CITES). Twenty percent are threatened with extinction according to the 2006 Red List of Threatened Species! If these keystone species were to become extinct, the underwater ecosystem would be drastically affected. Please help ban the sale of their cartilage!
