Help identifying a critter/plant?

I'm a bit stumped over something we saw recently so I thought I'd post here and see if a wise diver can help identify it!

This was seen on the west end of Curacao at about 50 feet. It was free floating in the water.

Looks to me to be a type of cnidarian- majano anemone

Yes...little guy just detached and is enjoying his little swim! Speaking of little swim...this time tomorrow I will be checking in to the Royal Seaquarium for 9 days of curacao bliss. This has been the year from hell.....I'm SOOOOOO ready!
