Theodora Balabanova was a diver who lost her life while setting a new world record for deep diving. She reached the depth of 233 metres that made her the only woman who has been at such depth. But Theo, as her friends call her, did not live to tell her story neither to enjoy her success. By the end of last year we started to shoot a movie to show the power of human spirit and to tell the stoty of that brave woman. But now we need YOU to help us tell the full story and finish our movie.

With all respect to the deceased. . .

Verna van Schaik (current deep dive record holder) gave a TEDx talk in 2013:
A notable quote: "There is nothing more useless than a diving world record"

As has been pointed out before, saturation divers frequently work at much greater depths and there is nothing to be learned doing a bounce dive like this.
