Hi Folks,

I'm a Canadian soldier and Scuba Instructor that has just been approached by our Soldier On program to provide scuba instruction to wounded and disabled veterans. The problem is I have no idea how, or what resources are out there and available. If anyone can give me websites, training agencies, contact info or anything else that might be of help that would be great. You can respond here or email me at jonesdiving@gmail.com

Handicapped SCUBA Association (HSA) at http://www.Handicap Scuba Association is the orginal certification agency for handicapped divers and their instructors.

IAHD offers a very simular program.

Agencies you can contact for help who are involved teaching the handicapped as others have suggested are:
Illionis - Dive Heart Diveheart Foundation Official Website
Maryland - Soldiers Undertaking Disabled SCUBA or S.U.D.S at SUDS Diving > Welcome to SUDS
Californai Disabled Veterans SCUBA Project Disabled Veterans SCUBA Project > Home (my group)

There are othters but that will get you started. I would be happy to help with what little I know.

Thanks for the contacts everyone, we've been able to get the ball rolling. I'll probably be back asking more and more as things progress.
