I would like to know more about hogarthian rigs. I would like options on where to clip SPG's, Computers, knives, pouches, etc. Pictures are welcome, please post what you've got. Thank You.

Sure, but you have to remove the computers, knives(plural), pouches (off of the rig of course). I just got my DSS BP&W, so I'm working on minimizing also, but still trying to keep some toys.

Yes I stand corrected. I should have stated this in the singular. I too am setting up my BP & W rig and am reasearching on as much information about this as possible. It is correct that there is a lot of information on these pages on this however there are not to many pictures. I just want to see how everyone is setting theirs up and go with what works for me. Am not a DIR fan. I want to go with what works.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. You would be well advised, however, to pay attention to these boys...if anyone knows how to put together a hog rig, they sure do... and I assure you... their rig "works'.

Here are some great links with photos of how a hog rig is set up. But be forewarned... they are DIR links... :D

Stephen: Those are some great links, thanks.

I just got my Halcion Eclipse and set it up yesterday (with alot of help from my LDS  ).

I meant I want to go with what works for me. I have read in some of these forums that some DIR divers wont dive with people that are not following DIR to the T. I don't beleive in this ideal. The would rather dive alone than dive with someone who is not 100% DIR.

I suspect that you have the wrong impression of DIR but we would be best to just leave DIR out of this and try to stick to your original question. Otherwise, this thread is going to turn into something that you probably don't want. Trust me...it won't be a pretty sight.

Are there any particular aspects of a hog rig about which you have questions? Would you like any specific photos? I'm about to post some more pics in my cold water thread. They weren't taken with any specifics in mind, however, but rather to simply show another solution for higher weight requirements than those found when diving in warm water.
