I’m new to diving and had a question about the inner loop and holes in the top of my lavacore hood. I was wondering if these are for an attachment? I looked on lavacore website and there were no such accessories. Was thinking of attaching my small dive torch to it but cannot find any purpose made attachments. Is this what those holes are for and if so, is it a diy attachment or are there prefabricated mounts available?

I believe you are talking about the purge holes. Those are to let air out of the hood so your exhausted air does not fill up your hood.
