How old were you when you started diving?

Started when I was 20 years old stationed in Pensacola, Florida

Hey I am 52 and only now considering doing a diving course.....you have plenty of time up your sleeve and you are already diving at 27

I wish I would have started much sooner also.

Age 12 while in boy scouts had a scoutmaster who was certified, military trained in 88, civilian c- card back in 98 now 42

Wife began diving at 40
Daughter at 12
Son at 10

And I certified my father at age 79 -- he's now 83.

3 1/2 years ago when I was 53. I'm trying hard to catch up to the younger guys by working as little as possible and diving as often as possible averaging about 100 dives a year.

Now I am 37, but I took about 12 years off diving whilst I was working in Europe. It was fun coming back to it - almost like discovering it for the first time. Again.
