Solved: How to remove DM/Instructor banner?

Until a few days ago, the DM/Instructor identification banners did not show under my avatar when posting.
Is there a current method to remove the banners but still remain in the pro forums?
I unchecked the DM & instructor boxes in account preferences yesterday, but that does not appear to be the solution.

I am fine with being removed from the pro forums, if that is the only way to remove the banners.
