Does anyone have the schematics for how to service - or how to open up the pull dump mechanism on a Scuba Pro BCD which is located at the top of the corrugated hose?

Mine started leaking steadily and slowly and I want to see if I can figure out what is happening on my own. Looks like there is a release tab inside a slot? but it doesn't seem to be working ?

Thanks!

Never mind... drove out a SS pin, popped a cover off and found the broken OP relief spring..

nicely done. i was amazed when I took the equipment class just how simple much of the gear is.

If you haven't yet reassembled while waiting for the new spring, be especially careful with the plastic tab that holds the cover in position as you replace the pin.
Don't ask me how I know...

Thanks for the tips. I seem to have gotten it reassembled - I had a spare OP spring laying around. Then I decided to look again at my air 2. I was having trouble orally inflating the bc as welll.. Found that I had a torn diaphragm - probably from using a screw driver to remove the cover- who knows when? Got it all back together and it seems fine.

As for the 3-step process.. I normally just use the pull dump from the other side.
