Did any of you try to do this with freshwater from lakes or rivers? What is the result?

I watched your webisite in the signature, awesome
I have a question about your pictures compared to the ones by Wim van Egmond you linked. His pictures seem to have a more colourful background. He must use some kind of editing. What does he do exactly to change the appearance of the pictures?

May I ask which is your microscope adapter?

I have several (for different cameras) but the only ones labelled are the MM99 from Martin Microscope Co. and the LNS-23D from Zarf Enterprises
