Disabled Veterans SCUBA Project is sponsoring a Handicapped SCUBA Association training course March 12-15, 2010. This is a cross over course for Instructors/Dive Masters to become instructors and divemasters for Adaptive (handicapped) SCUBA.

Divebuddies are also trained in this course.

You may never dive with a person who has paralysis or is blind or has autism, but would it not be nice to be trained to do so if the opportunity arises. To quote a recent graduate " This is the toughest course I have ever taken" and "This course has caused me to step up my game and has made me a better instructor to my other students."

Classes are held in Los Alamitos just off Katella and the 605 Freeway where Los Angeles County meets Orange County.
