Ice Boom WebCam - any day now

Last Sunday East River had a few burgs, West River was PACKED up.
Maybe I will drive by this evening and take a look.

Water temps at the mouth of the river are still only 33 degrees.

Any idea which river Anchor Marina in Grand Island is on? Thats the river I want clear.

Still a lot of ice in the lake near Hamburg and Lackawanna.

Better and better!

Noticed a bulk grain ship heading out from the General Mills slip this evening. The ice in the lake is almost gone, and the bergs are getting fewer.

Even saw some of the Rowing club out practicing in the canal today - dodging around the few burgs flowing along in the canal.

I saw them, too. They were out there Wednesday, but there was a pretty good pack of ice that left little room for them to get through.

I was begining to think that there would always be ice on the river?!?

But it's done, not a berg left, all melted - Hooray?!
