IDC

Hi

i m a 36 years old french guy, i did my divemaster in 2014 for 4 months in Gili island (indonesia) and i m willing to do my IDC now .

i have checked lot of website and reviews to do my IDc but cannot decide between going back to gili, or going somewhere else in Asia

i have been a bit disappointed by gili last year, it changes so much and it s a bit too partying now for me but the instructor (Holly ) is amazing

i m looking for a good diving center , with excited instructor , but a bit less party island than gili .
i was looking for koh tao, as it s cheap, but seems to be the same kind of island. and diving is apparently not better than gili .

any idea or advice ?

Bon jour,

I know you asked for Asia, but have you considered Utila Honduras? I did my DM at Utila Dive Center and at the same time they were doing an IDC. I know my course was great and Andy is well respected in the Industry. I am NOT a party animal yet my GF and I really enjoyed the nights...walks after dinners.

Check out Bali too - very close to the Gilis, but the diving is more diverse, and imo better...
