Ron, I was looking at those pics of yours and I see some noise in the image. It might be jpeg compression, but it almost looks like the camera was set on a higher ISO than needed. My own 2G experience is quite limited too, though.

ISO is always set at 100, Matt.
It might be time to experiment with RAW.

What I am seeing is probably from recompression for sharing on the forum, or something like that. Or maybe I just have my noise reduction turned up too high in my own workflow. (Anyway, you may want to set ISO to 64, every little bit helps.)

And check out raw shooting for sure. It allows you to make some exposure and white balance adjustments that you can't do to a jpeg. The camera writes out a jpeg too so if you have space on the card it doesn't hurt to check it out. Write speeds are pretty good on the 2G, even when shooting raw.
