Please sign the petition to keep Henry 1 around.

At the local Santa Rosa Farmer's Market last Wed the Sheriff's Henry 1 unit was collecting signatures trying to keep Henry 1 flying. Please sign the petition, as we are in danger of losing this major asset. There are many divers that have been rescued by Henry 1 and one day it could be one of us or our friends. What if they aren't there?

With the cost cuts coming down hard, it looks like Henry 1 won't be flying for much longer. Of course they assist in rescues, but I also see them flying over Santa Rosa chasing the bad guys. When I lived in Arizona helicopters were a desperate villains worst nightmare. They were almost inescapable with their infrared technology, and bright spot light.

Bringing this back up! We need people to sign the petition to keep the helicopter flying. Henry 1 is our safety net, and just flew a mission last week for an ab diver. I know many of you ab dive or have friends that do. Please sign it, and pass it along to your friends. Only takes a few seconds and you will be helping your fellow divers, MTB riders and other fine folks who rely on the helo.

Thanks Ben! Out of 174 views you seem to be the only one that so far has offered your support (Unless others are just not posting here about signing the petition). Come on people, this is an important resource for many of us. We need your help.

Well at first I didn't think it would be fair to support a budget idea for Santa Rosa, since I never frequent the the area. But the Ab diver comment got me thinking, this will probably have effects way beyond the borders of Santa Rosa.

Done!
