I’m just asking.....but if Bali opens up July does that mean Komodo/Raja/Alor/Lembeh/etc. opens up? It doesn’t read Indonesia opens up July 2021.

Once Bali opens up, the rest of Indonesian’s popular tourist destinations would soon follow, hopefully.

Sandiaga Uno is as smart & successful businessman and investor before becoming the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, so I’m sure he’ll get this foreign tourism going as soon as Indonesian government is ready for it.

“A graduate of George Washington University, Sandiaga worked for several companies and rose in rank before founding his own business, which led him to become one of the richest people in Indonesia...”

I think you are overly optimistic. The Minister of Tourism wants to run for president. He is doing everything to stay in the news. Three parts of Indonesia have been mentioned for this travel corridor. But not one of the countries which are contacted by Indonesia are ready to send tourists yet. With Google translate this article should be able to clarify: Bagaimana Nasib Rencana Membuka Travel Corridor Arrangement Bintan dan Batam pada 21 April 2021?.

:( Even if Bali will be open in July, the article says that the foreign tourists can only hang out in Sanur, Ubud, and Nusa Dua.

And must be vaccinated and only arrive via charter flights. Also, only a small, select group of countries. There will also be a two day quarantine as you will get a PCR test on arrival... That's the latest rumour...

My group would all be vaccinated but we are from USA. So we reschedule our trip to 2022 then.

This article Bali Will Be Officially Opening for Tourism in July 2021 says:
“The Tourism Minister Sandiaga Uno mentioned that Australia, China, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan would be the first countries to be included on this new reopening strategy...”

Malaysia will definitely not open their international borders in July 2021. We are currently under an interstate travel ban for which there is no clear end date or plan even. No access to the islands off the east coast means I'm currently stuck with just diving in swimming pools :D
