Hello! I am planning to buy a strobe for my canon A75 in canon housing. I have no plans of upgrading to a DSLR or nikonos system. Perhaps I would be upgrading to a Canon G9 in canon housing in the near future. So I would be staying with fiber optic cables. I prefer manual settings and I would not want to use the flash auto functions or TTL. I would just like to ask for your suggestions.. should I buy the YS-27 DX or the D-2000W? and one more thing, I am planning to buy a nice but cheap fiber optic cable and DIY mount it to the strobe and camera. I know how to easily attach the cable to my strobe but.. Can you teach me how to attach the cable to the camera housing? Thanks!

thanks for the link! by the way, have you ever tried buying from this online store? how was their service in terms of shipping and quality of item? i have had bad experiences with leisurepro (they sent me a dive torch which has a broken o-ring) and it was much of a hassle and too expensive to send the item back. and i was just wondering, how much did you pay for customs tax? thanks!

Well I was going to until I saw what their shipping charge was. So I don't really have any experience with them. But I noticed that some other ScubaBoarders have these cables and I think they are only available from this company.
To be honest, I use the plastic bit from the FO cable kit that comes with the SeaLife digital strobe to hook up (stick on) to the uw case. It doesn't have the mask..but I do have tape :)
